LINDEN TREE KINDERGARTEN
AGES 3.5 – 6  (9AM-1PM)

1ST GRADE
(9AM-1:30PM)

4 days (Monday-Thursday) - $7255 per year,  $300 materials fee

4 days + 1 day Nature Immersion (Monday-Friday)~$9155, $300 materials fee

  • After-care available until 5:00PM for additional cost

 

2ND-8TH GRADES
(9AM-3:00PM)

4 days (Monday-Thursday) - $8065 per year,  $300 materials fee

4 days + 1 day Nature Immersion program (Monday-Friday)~ $9,965, $300 materials fee

Friday Nature Immersion PrograM
Ages 5 -14 (9am-3:00PM)

Nature Immersion takes place at various outdoor locations around the Portland Metro area on Fridays from 9 am - 3 pm. Tuition is $2,275 per year - special pricing of $1,900 for families enrolled in other Shining Star weekdays. For more information, contact admissions@shiningstarschool.com

Other:

  • A non-refundable $50 application fee is due with your application.

  • Tuition can be paid in full, or 10 monthly installments (September- June)

  • Fees due at enrollment:

    • 10% of annual tuition as deposit to ensure your child’s space.

    • Enrollment fee of $100.

  • Discounts available at enrollment

    • 10% sibling discount

    • 3% tuition discount when paid in full

  • Aftercare is available until 3pm for Linden Tree and 5 pm for grades.

    • Aftercare is not included in tuition and is $8/hr.

    • Aftercare is coordinated throughout the year with teachers/assistant teachers


FINANCIAL AID

We offer financial aid in the form of a partial tuition reduction for families in need on a first come, first served basis. Overall it amounts to 7-9% of total tuition for the school. Optimally, tuition reduction is temporary as families strive to arrange to pay the full tuition for their children. Applicants must submit a copy of their past year’s IRS tax statements and a letter of need. If financial assistance is approved, an offer will be determined by committee and communicated to the family for acceptance.

Families currently attending our school must submit applications for tuition reduction by April 1 of each calendar year to be considered.  The average reduction is 20% of tuition and determined case by case.
